  • Argentina 3-0 Venezuela: La Scaloneta remains undefeated and seals its lead.

 

  • Uruguay 3-0 Peru: La Celeste dominated and secured their spot.

 

  • Colombia 3-0 Bolivia: The Cafeteros controlled and celebrated their qualification.

 

  • Brazil 3-0 Chile: Canarinha keeps their unstoppable run.

 

  • Paraguay 0-0 Ecuador: A draw that’s enough for the Guaraníes to travel to the World Cup.

The big question: who goes to the playoff?

Only one spot remains: the 7th place, which will face an Asian opponent. The contenders are:

 

  • Venezuela (18 pts): Needs at least a draw vs Colombia.

 

  • Bolivia (17 pts): Must beat Brazil and hope Venezuela loses.



Final matchday (September 9):

 

  • 20:30 ET: Venezuela vs Colombia (Estadio Olímpico, Caracas)

 

  • 20:30 ET: Bolivia vs Brazil (Estadio Hernando Siles, La Paz)



 

Why this matters in Miami?

More than 500,000 Venezuelans and 200,000 Bolivians live in Florida, according to the latest census. The communities will be out in force in Doral, Sweetwater, and Hialeah.

Colombia, already qualified, could be a spoiler: they may play their substitutes, giving Venezuela an edge.
