Miami Grand Prix F1: the top of the standings speaks Spanish (with Pérez, Alonso and Sainz)

(By Juan Maqueda and Marcelo Maurizio from Hard Rock Miami Stadium) The Miami Grand Prix has been historic, with the top three spots on the grid being occupied by Spanish-speaking drivers: Checo Perez, Fernando Alonso, and Carlos Sainz. Perez was especially celebrated by the crowd, with Mexican fans filling the stands and chanting his name. Despite facing difficulties in qualifying, Perez delivered an impressive lap to secure pole position, beating out Alonso and Sainz in Q3.

Max Verstappen led Q1 and Q2, but an error in Q3 cost him the chance to improve his time. As a result, he will start from the ninth position on the grid, just behind Valtteri Bottas.

The final race will consist of 57 laps and will start at 1:30 PM (Central Time). Fans can tune in to the broadcast on Fox Sports, F1TV, and FOX+. The McLaren team had a disappointing qualifying, with none of its drivers advancing beyond Q1. Lewis Hamilton also had a bad day, finishing in 13th place and failing to make it to Q3 for the first time since last year's Italian Grand Prix. In summary, the final race of the Miami GP promises to be exciting, with Checo Perez leading the way for Spanish-speaking drivers in the premier category of world motorsport.
