Miami has three of the best pizzerias in the USA, according to a new ranking

(By Belén Gandolfo Screpante) Three Miami restaurants are among the best places to enjoy a slice, according to the latest 50 Top Pizza USA 2023 list! We'll tell you which ones in this article. The annual ranking of the 50 best pizzerias in the country, 50 Top Pizza, was recently published, and you better start making reservations because Miami has made a prominent appearance on the list! Miami loves pizza.

The city is officially home to three of the top 50 pizzerias in the USA, with 'O Munaciello, a popular restaurant in the MiMo District, ranking No. 7, placing it within the top 10 nationwide.

As the first establishment of the beloved Florence, Italy restaurant, 'O Munaciello serves authentic pizzas in different styles, ranging from the traditional Margherita to a Capricciosa with ham, artichokes, olives, and mushrooms. Their Neapolitan pies are also a true delight, baked in a wood-fired oven, thinly spread with authentic Italian ingredients. The rest of the restaurant's menu is completed with delicious homemade bread and typical Italian desserts accompanied by classic Italian wine labels.

As for its ambiance, the place remains true to its Italian counterpart, with lots of color, nods to the Neapolitan football club, and even an angel overlooking the restaurant.

Two other pizzerias in the city known for their Neapolitan pies also made it to the top 50: La Leggenda Pizzeria on Española Way at No. 11 and PizzElla at No. 40!

The 50 Top Pizza list was topped by Ken's Artisan Pizza from Portland at No. 3 and Razza Pizza Artigianale from Jersey City at No. 2. As for the top spot, that honorable title goes to Una Pizza Napoletana in New York City. In fact, NYC is the most represented in this year's guide, with ten pizzerias, followed by equal parts Miami, Portland, and San Francisco, each having a total of three locations.

The top 15 pizzerias on the list will enter the ranking for the 100 Best Pizzerias in the World, to be held at the Palazzo Reale in Naples, Italy, on September 13th.
