It includes Henson Recording Studios in Los Angeles, Metropolis Studios in London, Sanctuary Studios in Nassau, Bahamas, Electric Lady Studios in New York, and The Hit Factory/Germano Studios, also in New York.
This album marks their fifth set of new material since "A Bigger Bang" in 2005, which coincidentally was released on September 6th 18 years ago. Since then, the Stones have continued to break box office records with sold-out world tours and released the award-winning album 'Blue & Lonesome' in 2016, featuring brilliant renditions of various blues classics that helped define their sound, topping charts worldwide. Last year, they captivated their European audience, reaching nearly a quarter of a million people on their Sixty Tour anniversary.
The Stones' Collaboration with Producer Andrew Watt: 'Hackney Diamonds' marks the first collaboration of the Stones (Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood) with New York-born producer and musician Andrew Watt. Watt was named Producer of the Year at the 2021 Grammy Awards and has worked with prominent artists such as Pearl Jam, Iggy Pop, and Elton John.
