Miami is on the top of the world's gastronomy. It's a culinary celebration!

(By Belen Gandolfo Screpante and the InfoNegocios Miami Editorial Staff) The Michelin Guide 2023 has announced eight new restaurants awarded with the coveted Bib Gourmand category, including two places located in the sunny city of Miami. The Bib Gourmand category, awarded to establishments that offer high-quality meals at reasonable prices, is a highly valued honor in the world of gastronomy.

One of the honorees is Jaguar Sun, an intimate restaurant and cocktail bar that offers a delicious blend of homemade pastas and balanced and creative drinks. The Guide highlights the freshly baked bread and Caesar salad, but also recommends the umami-packed mushroom tagliatelle and the spicy strozzapreti with stuffed mussels, 'nduja, and breadcrumbs.

The second recognized restaurant is Rosie's, a place that offers southern-inspired dishes. Its brunch is the house favorite, with chicharrones stuffed eggs, guanciale gravy biscuits, and fluffy banana pancakes with vanilla pastry cream. But also stand out the hot chicken and waffles, and the fried fish and grits with kale.

The Michelin Guide praised these two places for their accessible and welcoming atmosphere, as well as for their tasty dishes and quality ingredients. Critics and experts are excited about these additions, and the teams of these restaurants have much to celebrate.

Miami is not the only place in Florida that appears on the Michelin Guide's list. Also included are Gorkhali Kitchen in Tampa, Isan Zaap in Orlando, Norigami in Winter Garden, Otto's High Dive in Orlando, Psomi in Tampa, and Taste of Chengdu in Orlando. The complete selection of winners will be announced at an invitation-only ceremony at LoanDepot Park on Thursday, May 11. If you're a food lover, don't miss it!

The Bib Gourmand category of the Michelin Guide is a designation given to restaurants that offer "good quality at a good price".

"The restaurants joining the Bib Gourmand selection demonstrate that food lovers can find tasty international feasts in their own backyard, in Miami, Orlando or Tampa," said Gwendal Poullennec, international director of the Michelin Guides, in a press release. "These establishments are not only unique for their tasty dishes and quality ingredients, but they are also accessible in terms of price and atmosphere. Critics/inspectors are excited about these additions and the teams of these restaurants have much to be proud of."
