Is Messi from Miami?: How the contract signing is progressing

(By Juan Maqueda, from Miami) Latest news on the alleged signing of the PSG star to join David Beckham's MLS club. One of the world's top football stars, even in the twilight of his career, remains as popular and visible as ever following his triumph with Argentina at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, where he won the Ballon d'Or.

His club future remains a constant topic of discussion, and new reports indicate that the contract signing is in its final stages, as they have reached an agreement to join Major League Soccer.

The reports indicating that Messi will join Beckham's club seem to be the most credible.

Is Messi going to Inter Miami?

Reports that Lionel Messi would opt for a move to Major League Soccer have been confirmed. On Wednesday, June 7, Spanish journalist Guillem Balague stated that the decision had been made and that the Argentine superstar would move to Inter Miami. Global journalist Fabrizio Romano also confirmed the news.

Messi's start at the Parisian club was difficult, unable to reproduce his magical days at Barcelona, leading many to speculate that the end of his playing career was closer than imagined. However, this season has shown a new life, turning back the clock and proving that he still has plenty left in the tank.

The captain of the Argentine national team officially announced where he will continue his career: "I have made the decision to go to Miami. If the Barcelona deal didn't happen, I wanted to leave Europe, get out of the spotlight, and focus more on my family," he said in an interview published by the Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo. Messi will have a stake in the ownership of the team in the United States league.

Now, after the victory at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, it seems that Messi wants to seek a new challenge, and the MLS will be the next stage honored by his unique talents.
