Startup OLÉ Lands in Miami as Europe’s Premier Event During Tech Week

(By Taylor and Maurizio) The James L. Knight Convention Center at the Hyatt Regency Miami will host the third edition of Startup OLÉ Miami ’26—the international tech entrepreneurship and investment event that Startup OLÉ is bringing to “The Magic City.”

(High-value read, 4 minutes; shareable idea piece)

This initiative will take place on April 20–21, coinciding with the start of Miami Tech Week. It is supported by Miami-Dade County, Endeavor, Startup Grind, Miami Fintech Club, Kamay Partners, Lazo, the Consulate General of Brazil in Miami, Strive305, INNVIERTE-CDTI, the Mexico–United States Chamber of Commerce, the Exporters Circle, and the University of Salamanca.

The goal is to connect entrepreneurs and startups with investors, corporations, public administrations, media, and other key players in Miami’s ecosystem—one of the fastest-growing and most dynamic in the United States—serving as a strategic gateway to the North American and Latin American markets. Thus, Startup OLÉ aims to accelerate company growth, investment access, and client acquisition in the U.S. and Latin America.

The 2025 edition attracted over 1,000 attendees and 240 international speakers, with plans to double these figures in 2026.

Activities

To achieve this, Startup OLÉ Miami ’26 will feature:

  • A forum for investment funds, angel investors, and corporations

  • An Accelerator Assembly for accelerators and incubators

  • Talks on the role of public administrations and universities in supporting entrepreneurship

  • Panels focused on the value of media in the ecosystem

  • A startup exhibition

  • A pitch competition where top startups and scaleups present to investors, corporations, and media

  • A reverse pitch session where corporations and service providers showcase their offerings to entrepreneurs

  • B2B matchmaking and networking cocktails

This makes Startup OLÉ Miami not just an event, but an immersive experience for attendees.

Special mention goes to the inclusion of the INNVIERTE-CDTI forum, where Spanish government bodies will present their initiatives; participation and moderation in panels and talks on international investment; and a dedicated space for meetings with interested startups and other ecosystem players. Additionally, a delegation of Spanish startups will enjoy their own booth, participation in the pitch competition, matchmaking activities, and access to the digital networking tool—all fostering commercial ties between Spain/Europe and the U.S./Latin America.
