An exciting race from the 2023 F1 Miami Grand Prix left us breathless!

Sergio Perez took the lead from pole position with medium tires, following the strategy of most drivers. However, Max Verstappen, who started from ninth, rallied with an impressive performance to secure his deserved victory. At a movie level.

The Dutch driver, as expected, made his way to extend the life of his tires, taking the lead halfway through the race after Perez made a pit stop. Verstappen quickly passed his teammate to secure his third win of the season. What a spectacular performance!

In the first turn, Perez stayed ahead of Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz. Pierre Gasly and George Russell overtook Kevin Magnussen to take fourth and fifth place, while Lando Norris collided with Nyck de Vries in the first turn, dropping to the back of the pack.

Throughout the race, Verstappen demonstrated exceptional skill, passing Charles Leclerc and Magnussen in the early laps to inherit sixth position, and then advancing to overtake Russell and Gasly. Verstappen was 4.6 seconds behind the leader at that time and set out to close the gap with Sainz. The Dutchman passed the Spaniard with DRS on turn 11 of lap 14 and repeated the action on Alonso a lap later to put both Red Bull cars at the top.

In the battle for best of the rest, Sainz was right behind Alonso when the Asturian entered the pits on lap 19. Unfortunately, Sainz locked his brakes entering the pitlane, costing him a five-second penalty for exceeding the speed limit. Perez was the first Red Bull driver to make his pit stop on lap 21, while Alonso entered on lap 25 after extending his stint with medium tires.

Alonso showed his talent and skill, overtaking Sainz on turn 11 just before the halfway point of the race and passing Esteban Ocon a couple of laps later to regain third position.

Russell also showed his skill by overtaking Sainz to take fourth place on lap 38. Verstappen proved to be faster on much older tires than Perez, who was on new hard tires, and finally entered the pits on lap 46. Although the Dutchman's pit stop was relatively slow, at 3.1 seconds, he managed to rejoin behind his teammate. However, with only ten laps to go, he managed to overtake him in the corner to pull away and win by over five seconds. What an exciting race! Alonso finished third, then  Russell and Sainz.
