Miami: How much does a ticket to see Messi in his first game with Inter cost?

(By Franquito Rosella and Juan Maqueda, from Miami) Just one month away from Lionel Messi's highly anticipated debut with Inter Miami, find out how much tickets cost and how to get them to witness this historic event! The club's majority shareholder, Jorge Mas, has confirmed that Messi will play on July 21 against Cruz Azul in an exciting match of the Leagues Cup. This tournament brings together American and Mexican teams, and the game will take place at DRV PNK Stadium, located in Fort Lauderdale, just 46 kilometers from Miami.

The arrival of Messi has caused a real revolution in the city, especially in terms of ticket prices, which have skyrocketed. To purchase your tickets, you can visit the official Ticketmaster website, responsible for selling Inter Miami's matches, affectionately known as "Las Garzas." On this site, the cheapest price is $1,319, for a mid-level seat behind the goal, towards the right.

If you're willing to invest more in your experience, you can opt for the most exclusive seats. For example, the most expensive VIP seat, located in the front row, costs $6,700 per ticket. There are also 17 seats available in different sections, with the highest-priced one being located practically on the field, next to one of the goals, with a value of $10,000.

In addition to Ticketmaster, there are other platforms where you can purchase tickets, such as SeatGeek and StubHub. On SeatGeek, prices range from $1,153 to $17,294, depending on the location. On the other hand, StubHub offers prices in Argentine pesos, ranging from approximately 245,000 to 3.9 million pesos.

It is important to mention that the mentioned prices do not include the additional seats that will be added for Messi's debut match with Inter Miami. According to information provided by Mas, the stadium capacity will be expanded from 18,000 to 22,200 spectators, allowing fans to enjoy this exciting game in a vibrant and passionate atmosphere.

The Messi phenomenon has also made a mark on the club's social media. Prior to his arrival, Inter Miami had one million followers on Instagram, and now, thanks to the impact of the world's best player, it has reached 8.3 million followers. Only two professional sports teams in the United States surpass this number: the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors, both belonging to the NBA, the premier basketball league in the world.

Despite the excitement surrounding Messi and his addition to Inter Miami, it is important to note that MLS does not reach the competitive level of European leagues. Therefore, the Argentine star will face a great challenge due to the club's current sporting crisis. Currently, Inter Miami is in last place in the Eastern Conference, with 5 wins and 12 losses in a total of 17 games played. Recently, coach Phil Neville was fired, and for now, Argentine Javier Morales is in charge on an interim basis. There are rumors that Messi's fellow countryman, Gerardo Martino, is the leading candidate to coach the team in the future.
There are still 18 regular-season matches to be played in the MLS, which will resume on August 20 after the break due to the Leagues Cup. During this period, Inter Miami will have the opportunity to turn things around with Messi leading the way and seek an improvement in their performance.

Lionel Messi's debut with Inter Miami is a highly anticipated event that has caused a true revolution in the city. If you want to witness this historic moment, make sure to get your tickets as soon as possible, as prices have skyrocketed and demand is high.

Don't miss the opportunity to see Messi shine in American soccer and enjoy a unique experience at DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale!
