The Trump website gets overwhelmed by donors after the trial verdict

(By Maqueda) Trump's campaign seeks to raise funds following his verdict: "I am a political prisoner!" Upon entering Trump's donation site, it crashes due to high traffic; displaying the message of '500 something went wrong.' After former President of the United States, Donald Trump, was found guilty, his donation site collapsed, with hundreds of citizens donating money to him.

In an email sent this Thursday afternoon following the guilty verdict on all charges, Trump's campaign sought to raise funds for his campaign to return to the presidency this November.

"Friend, is this the end of the United States?"

I have just been convicted in a political trial for a rigged witch hunt: I DID NOTHING WRONG!

They raided my home, arrested me, took my mugshot AND NOW THEY JUST CONVICTED ME! But with your support at this pivotal moment in history, WE WILL WIN BACK THE WHITE HOUSE AND MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN."

  • Biden reacts to the verdict: "There is only one way for Trump not to reach the Oval Office. By voting."

Tips on the repercussions in the USA:

  • Despite being declared guilty, the Republican Party candidate remains in the first hours post-verdict as the favorite in the polls for the November elections.

  • Donald Trump's donation site crashed this Thursday, after the former president was found guilty. This site crashed due to the increased traffic in the deposits of money to the accounts of the former president's campaign.

  • This Thursday, a jury reached the verdict and found the former president guilty on all charges in the criminal trial for allegations of secret money.

  1. His sentencing will be determined by the judge on July 11.

  2. The former president was accused of falsifying business records in connection with a $130,000 payment to the porn actress Stormy Daniels to buy her silence about an alleged sexual encounter, and, a second significant charge related to a state of New York election law, which led to the falsification of those business records with the intention of defrauding and concealing a scheme to be elected president.

  3. Prosecutor Joshua Steinglass stated in his closing arguments that there was a "mountain of evidence" and that Trump's intention to orchestrate an elaborate scheme to defraud "could not be clearer."
