Violence in the exercise of power, whether verbal or emotional, is a complex phenomenon that manifests in many organizations and teams today. Perhaps the current need for generalist skills and resilience to accept undeniable complex changes makes this more evident. This violence can be exerted by leaders, directors, and also by younger or less experienced members in a workplace environment. Violence in power is the denial (in its various forms) of the other, of facts, of evidence, of ideas, of voices, of other variables and indicators, often using a series of seemingly solid proofs and constructs to justify every confirmation bias. In this context, it is crucial to explore the dynamics of power, communication, and interpersonal interactions from the perspective of neuroscience and neuroliderazgo, as well as the competencies needed to lead and make decisions in 2024, where variables are multidirectional.
